As you are getting to know where all of your community member data lives in HubSpot, we want to show you what information lives in Member Profiles and what information lives in Contact Records. Out-of-the-box we've created Member Profiles separate from Contact Records for easier organization and clean community management.

Default Properties in Contact Records

All out-of-the-box properties for Contact Records will be saved in a new group called "Community Properties." These are the properties that are auto tracked for admins: 

  • Community Manager (admin and moderator options)
  • Has member profile (1 = this contact has a member profile associated)
  • Signup form (the url the signup form was submitted from)
  • Moderation: Abuse Description
  • Moderation: Reported Abuse Category
  • Moderation: Reported Abuse URL
